Leonides Mon made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Silvio Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Douglas Haig's Leonides Mon threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domingo Oliverio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Leonides Mon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes into the game, Douglas Haig's Silvio Iruinea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Mon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Leonides Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Iruinea in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, CHANGOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Belasko came free, but Leonides Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Justo Tonio. Alfredo Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Oliverio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Mon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Telesforo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. CHANGOS FC's Leonides Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Belasko in the 57th minute of play. Domingo Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Leonides Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, CHANGOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Iruinea came free, but Leonides Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Iruinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Piorno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Peder Wållander made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Belasko in the 67th minute of play forced CHANGOS FC's goalkeeper Leonides Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Belasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Hipolito Belasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Mon. CHANGOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Belasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Peder Wållander made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Alfredo Piorno sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Belasko in the 94th minute of play. Ariel Eztebe hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Domingo Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Douglas Haig players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
