Orlando Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of Tintigasta AFC booed when Monaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Otsoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Blas Tulio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Admon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Petri in the 10th minute of play forced Tintigasta AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Tintigasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Betadur to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Luciano Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Isaias Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Orlando Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tintigasta AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Virgilio Oxarra hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Tintigasta AFC defense, Luciano Petri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Gonza. The Tintigasta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Gonza should have stopped the shot. Fernando Orain took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Gonza. Orlando Gonza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Virgilio Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Simon Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Fernando Orain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tintigasta AFC the free kick. After 37 played minutes Monaco got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Orain. Celedonio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Orlando Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Oxarra made a kick off. Simon Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Admon having to interfere. A collision led to Monaco getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Andres Artal hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Tintigasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Aragones to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Monaco's Simon Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Aragones in the 61st minute of play. Teo Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Admon having to interfere. In the 64th minute, one of Tintigasta AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tintigasta AFC. The goalkeeper, Orlando Gonza, was totally fooled by Monaco's Amado Afonso, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 69th minute of the match Nemesio Tonio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Gonza skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Celedonio Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Fernando Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Santiago Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelio Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 93rd minute of the match Fernando Orain completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernando Orain a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 played minutes Monaco got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Orain. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monaco's goalkeeper Simon Admon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 98 minutes, Celedonio Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monaco and the Tintigasta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celedonio Faro hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Although Tintigasta AFC had been in control for most of the match, Monaco still came away with the win.
