Dionisio Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Octavio Gonzales took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aquiles Mel to make any attempt to save it. Octavio Gonzales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montay, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Octavio Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Reynaldo Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Escriña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Remicio to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Orixe took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Matxin. Marcial Matxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Gonzales was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Ralondo in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Octavio Gonzales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Aquiles Mel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquiles Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Elpidio Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Orixe in the 65th minute of play forced Escriña AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aquiles Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Gonzales in the 71st minute of the match. Pablo Ubarna hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ernesto Ralondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Escriña AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isaac Mincho hit a great ball. Elpidio Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcial Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Reynaldo Chaime scored 4-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Matxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Confesor made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olímpico FC's Ernesto Ralondo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olímpico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Escriña AFC.
