To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Orixe in the 27th minute of the match. Erasmo Izel came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Olímpico FC's Ernesto Ralondo. But to his dismay, Ernesto Ralondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Reynaldo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Janta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Elpidio Orixe scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Izel, making the score, 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Elpidio Orixe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Janta FC's Erasmo Izel. Erasmo Izel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Elpidio Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olímpico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Orixe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Izel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Ernesto Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Izel was a little too slow when Elpidio Orixe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-0. After 47 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Ralondo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Baristo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Janta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Orixe came free, but Erasmo Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Benet hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Elpidio Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Izel having to interfere. Ernesto Ralondo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Erasmo Izel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olímpico FC. Ernesto Ralondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Izel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Ralondo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Izel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Reynaldo Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Olímpico FC's Ernesto Ralondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Izel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Erasmo Izel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Chaime's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Izel was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Elpidio Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olímpico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Izel having to interfere. Matias Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Izel having to interfere.
