Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elpidio Orixe took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elpidio Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Reynaldo Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olímpico FC's Elpidio Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Chaime in the 12th minute of play forced Cuevas's goalkeeper Reynaldo Kemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Prudencio Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Aurelio Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Orixe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Reynaldo Kemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olímpico FC. In the 20th minute Cuevas were awarded a corner. Aristides Caradaro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22nd minute of the game, Elpidio Orixe landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A collision led to Cuevas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aurelio Honrio hit a great ball. Olímpico FC's Eustaquio Indar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reynaldo Kemen but with some difficulty. After 28th play minutes Anastasio Lastur shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Aquiles Mel and just under the crossbar into goal. 32 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Lastur came free, but Aquiles Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Kemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Chaime in the 36th minute of play. Arturo Fix was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Olímpico FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Abel Constancio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Anastasio Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Osoitz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Osoitz in the 51st minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Mel made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Anastasio Lastur sent off a good shot on target. Anastasio Lastur's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aquiles Mel firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Cuevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Reynaldo Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Matias Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Gelmiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Olímpico FC booed when Cuevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Prudencio Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ernesto Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Olímpico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Ralondo couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Arturo Fix put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Kemen. After having played for 90 minutes, Reynaldo Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olímpico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reynaldo Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Olímpico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Chaime couldn't finish the play. If Arturo Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olímpico FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
