Perdon Nelson's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Vallgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 38th minute, Rene Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Vallgren struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lorenzo Oro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto. Despite this Lorenzo Oro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salto's Tiburcio Birjaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. Tiburcio Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 49 minutes Salto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Theobald who took care of the corner kick.

Perdon Nelson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salto the free kick. The supporters of Salto booed when Perdon Nelson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Perdon Nelson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Jakue to maneuver through the defense. Salto made a substitution. Valentin Dimo replaced Felipe Fliz. After a rather tough play, Perdon Nelson's Angelino Jakue got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Aquiles Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perdon Nelson's protests and gave Aquiles Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Perdon Nelson's Aquiles Ubarna got a free kick in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Peter hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Salto played a much better game than Perdon Nelson and deserved their victory. The Perdon Nelson players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
