Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mendiolaza fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Arturo Fidencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendiolaza fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.E.V.S the free kick. After 11 played minutes Mendiolaza fc got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Fidencio. 12 minutes into the match, G.E.V.S's Oscar Gines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Burni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, one of Mendiolaza fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mendiolaza fc. Bonifacio Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hugo Aresti took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Burni. Bonifacio Burni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 65th minute Teo Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Iliana charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Iliana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, G.E.V.S's Bonifacio Burni threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Gines, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bonifacio Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Aresti in the 94th minute. Bonifacio Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Katia in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded G.E.V.S left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mendiolaza fc.
