Marcial Mano's late challenge caught a Socialismo Gatuno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Mano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Supremo Entrerriano's Marcial Mano got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Socialismo Gatuno's Fulgencio Milian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomiro Ruy. Baldomiro Ruy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Baldomiro Ruy came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Socialismo Gatuno's Javier Dalmau. But to his dismay, Javier Dalmau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Javier Dalmau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Supremo Entrerriano booed when Socialismo Gatuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Galeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Bilintx went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Supremo Entrerriano's Baldomiro Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gutxi in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Gutxi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Socialismo Gatuno's goalkeeper Hector Toribio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomiro Ruy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 70th minute Erasmo Gutxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Gutxi in the 72nd minute of play. Timoteo Truylos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. One of Socialismo Gatuno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Supremo Entrerriano:s goal. After 90 played minutes Supremo Entrerriano got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Mano.
