Socialismo Gatuno's Hector Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gonsalvo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Erasmo Gutxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Zacarias Peli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esteco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socialismo Gatuno the free kick. The supporters of Socialismo Gatuno booed when Esteco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Gutxi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Marciano Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socialismo Gatuno. Alvaro Eguntsenti took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Toribio. Hector Toribio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Gutxi to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Efren having to interfere. Hector Toribio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Aznaro in the 57th minute. Uriel Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erasmo Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hector Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Uriel Aznaro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Toribio. After 94 minutes, Alvaro Eguntsenti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esteco and the Socialismo Gatuno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Esteco's Alvaro Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Fulgencio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Socialismo Gatuno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esteco's performance. The match ended with a win for Esteco.
