After 21 minutes, Marcial Isadore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZenAku FC and the El Fortin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Marcial Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Perrando in the 23rd minute of play forced El Fortin's goalkeeper Lino Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Fortin's Lino Lluterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save El Fortin from getting a goal against them. Miguel Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Lluterio having to interfere. Miguel Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Fortin's attentive Teofilo Bermund managed to snatch the ball when Jose Lalla made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. When Tomas Goren fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Fortin's protests and gave Tomas Goren a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomás Castulo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ZenAku FC's Silvano Obeko got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Perrando in the 62nd minute of play forced El Fortin's goalkeeper Lino Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tomás Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Fortin's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute of the match, Lucio Alonso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florentino Rencio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ZenAku FC were furious when Silvano Obeko was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 76th minute, the referee gave El Fortin a penalty. Enrique Olayo looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Florentino Rencio. After 78 played minutes El Fortin got a freekick which was hit by Adan Su. Miguel Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Lluterio having to interfere. When Lucio Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the El Fortin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Alonso couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Cordera during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Fortin booed when ZenAku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Perrando in the 100th minute of the match. 101 minutes into the match, Lucio Alonso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ZenAku FC's Florentino Rencio. Florentino Rencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ZenAku FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Fortin's performance. The match ended with a win for El Fortin.
