Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) El Fortin's Tomás Castulo started the match with a crisp pass. But to his dismay, Tomás Castulo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, VenturaJr's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Castulo came free, but Rene Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Enrique Olayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Froylan skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Osorio in the 44th minute of play forced El Fortin's goalkeeper Lino Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Osorio was the one to do the kick off. El Fortin's Lino Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Osorio in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of El Fortin booed when VenturaJr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Sanduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Lino Lluterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Osorio in the 96th minute of play. VenturaJr's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
