Cipriano Pacifico started the match with the kick off. Ulises Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Arce in the 5th minute of the match. Ulises Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ledesma in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Inter de Medellin getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Armando Lehen hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arsenio Maurino sped through Boca Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodosio Kiliz. Ulises Polo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boca Juniors's Cipriano Pacifico shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Inter de Medellin's Ulises Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Ledesma in the 28th minute of play. Teodosio Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Txordon in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Maurino came free, but Teodosio Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Samuel Etor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Gartzea went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Cipriano Pacifico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulises Polo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Pacifico slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Txordon in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Kiliz saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Txordon to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Inter de Medellin's Braulio Luar got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Santiago Txordon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodosio Kiliz. The goal made the score 4-2. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Inter de Medellin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Polo having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Christian Dantel. In the 65th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pacifico in the 76th minute of play. Samuel Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Kiliz having to interfere. A collision led to Inter de Medellin getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Santiago Txordon hit a great ball. Inter de Medellin's Santo Espiridion managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeronimo Cisco in the 84 minute of the game. Samuel Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Teodosio Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cipriano Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
