Ulises Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Oskitz during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inter de Medellin's Ulises Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Hats in the 13th minute of play. Ulises Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodosio Chumo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Ulises Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Hats in the 20th minute of play. Inter de Medellin's Ulises Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Medellin from getting a goal against them. Simon Efraim came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Medellin's Santiago Txordon. But to his dismay, Santiago Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Samuel Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Txordon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Simon Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Medellin. Simon Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Etor in the 36th minute of the match. Amancio Otsoko charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Otsoko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inter de Medellin booed when Libertad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenio Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Simon Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eleuterio Hats showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 42 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Txordon was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Santiago Txordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Libertad FC's Simon Efraim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Arsenio Maurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Efraim. Libertad FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Maurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Anier Furman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Polo. Inter de Medellin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulises Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Hats in the 66th minute of the match. Arsenio Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Efraim having to interfere. The supporters of Inter de Medellin booed when Libertad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Libertad FC's Marcelino Oskitz got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Inter de Medellin's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Arias came free, but Ulises Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Aquilino Gaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aquilino Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Armando Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Medellin's protests and gave Armando Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. Benedicto Diaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 96th match minute, Libertad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Otsoko to maneuver through the defense.
