The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benigno Ciceron made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cristian Gonsalvo sent off a good shot on target. Pescado Negro's Cristian Gonsalvo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 5 minutes in the game, fortunately Benigno Ciceron had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Cristian Gonsalvos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Benigno Ciceron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Kepa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benigno Ciceron. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Cristian Gonsalvo in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benigno Ciceron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the match, Pescado Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Gerazan came free, but Rigoberto Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Fernanco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rigoberto Guipuzkoa. Pescado Negro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rigoberto Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Matteo in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Gonsalvo could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Benigno Ciceron however easily saved by the left post. Pescado Negro's Rigoberto Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Gerazan in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Curumalán were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Pescado Negro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Belarmo took the corner. In the 56th minute Cristian Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rigoberto Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Gonsalvo in the 60th minute of play forced Curumalán's goalkeeper Benigno Ciceron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pescado Negro fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Pescado Negro's Hipolito Kepa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severo Dayam hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Pescado Negro's Cristian Gonsalvo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ciceron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 87th minute Cristian Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curumalán's Adolfo Joachim got a free kick in the 87th minute. A collision led to Curumalán getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Severo Dayam hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pescado Negro had played much better football throughout.
