Spectators: 6645 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Oinatz kicked off to start the match. Humberto Fernado came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Durazno FC's Cosme Bastia. But to his dismay, Cosme Bastia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Benjamin Natal got a free kick in the 6th minute. Felix Baristo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Simon Lauaxeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Humberto Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes, Carolo Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno FC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Humberto Fernado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Bide hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Anier Ovando's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Ovando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Anier Ovando hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, David Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when David Santos made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Benjamin Natal might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Fernado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Natal ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Oinatz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Artemio Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Durazno FC's Cosme Bastia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Fernado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 74th minute of the match, Mariano Oinatz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Humberto Fernado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carolo Bide hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lázaro Montel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Peyo having to make a save. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Humberto Fernado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Cosme Bastia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Mariano Oinatz from a close distance when the talented Humberto Fernado managed to make a qualified save. Racing Club's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Santos in the 92nd minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Fernando Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Urdaspal during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Urdaspal. Durazno FC played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
