Pastor Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Union y Cultura getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Everardo Teodor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Union y Cultura's Benedicto Cugat got a free kick in the 30th minute. Maximo Muc came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Raymon could save by the left post. Union y Cultura's Victor Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Colas in the 32nd minute of play. Francisco Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Artizar in the 34th minute of the match. Union y Cultura's Victor Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Colas in the 38th minute of play. Guaberto Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Francisco Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Colas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Guaberto Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rumo AFC's Igor Rayman got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rene Fanuco's late challenge caught a Rumo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Fanuco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Union y Cultura getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rene Fanuco hit a great ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Pastor Colas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Union y Cultura's Victor Raymon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Rumo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erubiel Demario fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Union y Cultura's Erubiel Demario was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Erubiel Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union y Cultura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Maximo Muc came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rumo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Muc couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Francisco Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Artizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Artizar ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Guaberto Artizar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Rumo AFC. Ciro Gabirel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Raymon. 1-2.
