Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andres Lain got the match started through his kick off. Guaberto Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Chago having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Demario in the 4th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Mateo Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erubiel Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sepulturas FC's zone, Julio Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Chago came out of the goal and Julio Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Sepulturas FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Eli. In the 15th minute of the match Lucio Resto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Chago skillfully saved the ball. Erubiel Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mateo Chago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Chago having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Erubiel Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepulturas FC's Mateo Chago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Teodor in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Sepulturas FC booed when Union y Cultura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guaberto Artizar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Union y Cultura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Artizar couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Guaberto Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Domingos Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sepulturas FC's protests and gave Domingos Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Demario made a kick off. Mateo Chago was a little too slow when Erubiel Demario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. After 61 played minutes Union y Cultura got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Egoitz. Andres Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Victor Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Chago having to interfere. Guaberto Artizar scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Chago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erubiel Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mateo Chago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Demario's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Guaberto Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Chago having to interfere. Victor Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Lain in the 90th minute of the match. Victorino Lapurdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Raymon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Lapurdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Erubiel Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Union y Cultura's Guaberto Artizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Chago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Union y Cultura's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
