Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ruperto Abascal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Narciso Telo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Abascal in the 4th minute. Narciso Telo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Bitxintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Xl Team's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Franco came free, but Erubiel Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Paolo Sidoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Cordeal. Xl Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Sidoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Xl Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Rius to maneuver through the defense. Martin Madaleno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ruperto Abascal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Narciso Telo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Narciso Telo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ruperto Abascal sent off a good shot on target. Ruperto Fe struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Narciso Telo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xl Team. 31 minutes into the match, Paolo Sidoro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Xl Team's Erubiel Cordeal. Erubiel Cordeal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruperto Fe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Xl Team's Ruperto Fe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Telo. Narciso Telo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Paolo Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Franco to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Maquito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xl Team:s goal. Maquito:s Narciso Telo showed great skill when he stopped Ruperto Fe:s penalty. Ruperto Fe took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Telo. Narciso Telo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Botello in the 57th minute of play forced Maquito's goalkeeper Narciso Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Maquito's Guido Urre seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guido Urre the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maquito protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guido Urre had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Maquito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xl Team:s goal. Narciso Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Telo came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Xl Team's Ruperto Fe. But to his dismay, Ruperto Fe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 76th minute, Ruperto Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Telo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Narciso Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Xl Team's Ruperto Fe made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Telo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ruperto Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xl Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Telo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Fe in the 87th minute of the match. Maquito's Raul Tibalt got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Cordeal having to interfere. Benedicto Botello took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Telo. Narciso Telo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. After 95 played minutes Maquito got a freekick which was hit by Raul Tibalt. In the 98th minute, Ruperto Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maquito's Narciso Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Abascal in the 100th minute of play.
