Clemente Rufo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Denis Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Racing Club de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Denis Osoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Colon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Rufo in the 19th minute of play forced Racing Club de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Denis Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gouin were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Racing Club de Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Abalos took the corner. After 27 played minutes Racing Club de Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Damian Galindo. The audience was convinced that Clemente Rufo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Osoro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Denis Osoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club de Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute David Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leo Santo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club de Avellaneda's protests and gave Leo Santo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Leo Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Denis Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Martino's late challenge caught a Gouin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Martino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Eustaquio Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Clemente Rufo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Osoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alfonso Endura hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Colon in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Osoro saved Racing Club de Avellaneda from getting behind. Denis Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rufo in the 75th minute of play. Denis Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Gouin's David Colon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clemente Rufo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Colon in the 96th minute of the match.
