David Colon scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Cordeal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Xl Team's Norberto Edwardo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Raimundo Abalos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Cordeal. Xl Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ruperto Fe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xl Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 14 played minutes Xl Team got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Fe. Agustin Iyan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Raimundo Abalos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Cordeal. Xl Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximino Louis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Maximino Louis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Xl Team's Erubiel Cordeal. Erubiel Cordeal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Ruperto Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xl Team's Erubiel Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Xl Team from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Ruperto Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Abascal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Sesuldo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Gouin's Clemente Rufo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erubiel Cordeal. Erubiel Cordeal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 36th minute, Mateo Guillelmo made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Sesuldo. Gouin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Casimiro Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Guillelmo in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Fe in the 46th minute of play forced Gouin's goalkeeper Casimiro Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Abascal took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Sesuldo. Casimiro Sesuldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Rufo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Mateo Guillelmo notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Gouin's Casimiro Sesuldo. Casimiro Sesuldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Mateo Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Guillelmo in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Xl Team defense, David Colon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Cordeal. The Xl Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Cordeal should have stopped the shot. Erubiel Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Colon in the 76th minute of the match. Erubiel Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ruperto Abascal came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Casimiro Sesuldo could save by the left post. In the 84th match minute, Xl Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Xl Team's Mateo Guillelmo made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Sesuldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xl Team's Erubiel Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Colon in the 89th minute of play. Erubiel Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Xl Team's Efrain Rius got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Xl Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
