Amado Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Amado Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felipe Efren fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Nación's protests and gave Felipe Efren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A Nación getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Felipe Efren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Elizardo in the 8th minute of play forced C.A Nación's goalkeeper Amado Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Laurgain hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Carmelo Innocenzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Liberto. C.A Nación's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Innocenzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Augusto Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chupacabras Reborn's Edgardo Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Medardo in the 19th minute of play. Chupacabras Reborn's Basilio Elizardo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Augusto Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Venceslass short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Edgardo Peter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 32 minutes of play, Chupacabras Reborn's Carmelo Innocenzio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Liberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Carmelo Innocenzio made a precise shot to the right of Amado Liberto. C.A Nación's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Amado Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Elizardo in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to C.A Nación getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edgardo Laurgain hit a great ball. C.A Nación's Amado Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Innocenzio in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Chupacabras Reborn were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When C.A Nación's Baldomero Venceslas in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chupacabras Reborn's goalie prevented a goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Domingos Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Peter having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Baldomero Venceslas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Carmelo Innocenzio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of C.A Nación's Amado Liberto. Amado Liberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.A Nación's Amado Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Elizardo in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Chupacabras Reborn booed when C.A Nación was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Liberto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arturo Orlo. After having played for 78 minutes, Domingos Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Nación's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Domingos Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chupacabras Reborn's zone, Domingos Medardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Peter came out of the goal and Domingos Medardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Elizardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Liberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
