Anta's 黄森钢 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Oto in the 13th minute of play. 黄森钢 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Oto in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germán Pezzella in the 27th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Esteve Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Anta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ildefonso Isauro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Abeitia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Anta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodolfo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Astudillo having to interfere. Edgar Pâslaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Astudillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
