Octavio Nuno started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Firme in the 7th minute of play forced EL Diablo Volador's goalkeeper Domingos Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Froilan Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Tiadoro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, EL Diablo Volador's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Firme came free, but Domingos Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in EL Diablo Volador's zone, Froilan Beila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Abar came out of the goal and Froilan Beila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Lucio Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Nestor Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL Diablo Volador's Domingos Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Beila in the 39th minute of play. Froilan Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Domingos Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Firme in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Firme to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Boedo Argentina's Nestor Firme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingos Abar. Domingos Abar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. If Froilan Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Boedo Argentina's Nestor Firme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingos Abar. Domingos Abar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Froilan Beila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Domingos Abar made a huge save. Albano Tiadoro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Nestor Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Boedo Argentina fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Boedo Argentina's Froilan Beila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Orlando Mendebal hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Froilan Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Froilan Beila lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Domingos Abar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Octavio Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL Diablo Volador's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Nuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
