After a rather tough play, New Cavanagh FC's Krzysztof Fikus got a free kick in the 13th minute. Braulio Oriol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herminio Salvator. New Cavanagh FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Krzysztof Fikus might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Eliazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krzysztof Fikus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th match minute, New Cavanagh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Van Craesbeeck to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Huracan Fc's zone, Krzysztof Fikus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Eliazar came out of the goal and Krzysztof Fikus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Pimentel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Eliazar. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, New Cavanagh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lopes came free, but Herminio Salvator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Jorrin in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Huracan Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Fikus came free, but Cornelio Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luís Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Cavanagh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Hernan Lopes notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of New Cavanagh FC's Herminio Salvator. Herminio Salvator was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Arnau struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Marco Van Craesbeeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Cavanagh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Van Craesbeeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, one of Huracan Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huracan Fc. Jeronimo Monico shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Fikus in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Eliazar saved Huracan Fc from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Luís Pimentel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Cavanagh FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Krzysztof Fikus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cornelio Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, New Cavanagh FC's Krzysztof Fikus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Eliazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 95th minute Luís Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huracan Fc's Braulio Oriol pulled a muscle in his leg after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. New Cavanagh FC's Krzysztof Fikus got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Krzysztof Fikus off the ground. The supporters of Huracan Fc booed when New Cavanagh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Fikus didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Cavanagh FC had played much better football throughout.
