Huracan Fc's Cornelio Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Huracan Fc from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Huracan Fc's goalkeeper Cornelio Eliazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Beila. Edgard Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Orzaize showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Placido Jorrin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Hernan Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boedo Argentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huracan Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
