Baltasar Huly came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Mitre's Martin Gurutz. But to his dismay, Martin Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Real River Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Bernebe in the 29th minute of play forced Real River Madrid's goalkeeper Baltasar Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Estavan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Maximino Primeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baltasar Huly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Real River Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Inge. Baltasar Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Dolfo in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Roberto Menendo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Huly skillfully saved the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Adan Bernebe notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Real River Madrid's Baltasar Huly. Baltasar Huly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauricio Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Maximino Primeiro made a huge save. The Real River Madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Mitre were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Gurutz to make the kick off. With a little luck, Real River Madrid's Baltasar Huly got control of the ball when Adan Bernebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Prudencio Euloxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real River Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Mitre the free kick. A collision led to Real River Madrid getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Prudencio Euloxu hit a great ball. Real River Madrid's Baltasar Huly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Real River Madrid from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Estavan struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Maximino Primeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real River Madrid. In the 62nd minute, Mauricio Estavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavino Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Real River Madrid's Mauricio Estavan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Primeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximino Primeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Estavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Real River Madrid's Prudencio Euloxu suffered a concussion in the 77th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Dolfo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real River Madrid's Silvio Demesio was substituted for Prudencio Euloxu. After 79 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Dolfo. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Danilo Lohitzun got a free kick in the 81st minute. Maximino Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Estavan succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Villa Mitre's Martin Gurutz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Villa Mitre succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real River Madrid had controlled the match.
