Ciriaco Restu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Ellande in the 57th minute. ROSARIO's Ciriaco Restu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Estavan in the 59th minute of play. Ciriaco Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Ellande in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real River Madrid's zone, Romulo Dominguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Huly came out of the goal and Romulo Dominguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ramiro Videl fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ROSARIO's protests and gave Ramiro Videl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Ramiro Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real River Madrid booed when ROSARIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Anibal Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Ellande showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. ROSARIO's Ciriaco Restu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ROSARIO from getting a goal against them.
