Hipolito Henric made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Santamarina's Melchor Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Guipuzkoa in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Nicolas George recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melchor Oihan. Nicolas George showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Santamarina's Claudio Misael in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zacarias Guipuzkoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Maximiliano Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Henric having to interfere. Melchor Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 89 minutes into the match, Santamarina's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Guipuzkoa came free, but Melchor Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
