The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 16 minutes of play, ANARCASSIS FC's Enzo Millano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Libertad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marteinn Palermo in the 20th minute of the match. Blas Nesor came free in the 25th minute and tried to tip the ball over Paolo Paez, but to the joy of ANARCASSIS FC's supporters the ball went over. After a defensive mix-up in Poetas Guerreros's zone, Marteinn Palermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Libertad came out of the goal and Marteinn Palermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Canor scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Libertad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marteinn Palermo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jaime Canor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Libertad having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marteinn Palermo to make the kick off. Haroldo Libertad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Jaime Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebahattin Gentiletti made a great header on ANARCASSIS FC's corner, it was just that Poetas Guerreros's Haroldo Libertad managed to reach the ball for a save. Cayetano Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 98th minute Enzo Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
