In the 9th minute Nemesio Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Julio Guib throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leon Munio in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 20th minute, C.A.Belgrano's Leon Munio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Guib. Julio Guib yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Alonzo Elazar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C.A.Belgrano's Arturo Tiadoro. Arturo Tiadoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute of the match Lino Enaut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Tiadoro skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Munio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Esquina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Munio came free, but Julio Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Leon Munio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquina FC's Julio Guib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Nicanor Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes C.A.Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Muc. Leon Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Montay hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aldo Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Esquina FC's Alonzo Elazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arturo Tiadoro. That made the score 2-2 after 75 minutes of play. Arturo Tiadoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Esquina FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Placido Montay hit a great ball. Alonzo Elazar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Leon Munio struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Julio Guib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Belgrano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Nel in the 90th minute of play forced Esquina FC's goalkeeper Julio Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Tiadoro was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Nemesio Feliz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Feliz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
