The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Edgard Rubio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Javier Dimas, 1-0. Edgard Rubio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Dimas came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Rubio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. Edgard Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Dimas having to interfere. Javier Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Nicasio Iraunkor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's Aureliano Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Iraunkor in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Poro-Amigos F.C's Nicasio Iraunkor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliano Abella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Aureliano Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Bembe in the 35th minute of play. Javier Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Rubio in the 38th minute of the match. Nicasio Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Abella having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Bembe in the 41st minute of play forced C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's goalkeeper Aureliano Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Poro-Amigos F.C booed when C.A. Sportivo Sabalero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's zone, Dionisio Bembe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Abella came out of the goal and Dionisio Bembe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Dionisio Bembe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Aureliano Abella skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Edgard Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the C.A. Sportivo Sabalero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Rubio couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Edgard Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poro-Amigos F.C the free kick. In the 55th minute, Edgard Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Rubio was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edgard Rubio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nicasio Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Dionisio Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's attentive Fabricio Godoy managed to snatch the ball when Virgilio Mikelar made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Dionisio Bembe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicasio Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Abella having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Roldan in the 81st minute of play forced C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's goalkeeper Aureliano Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Feliciano Lore put in a rough tackle. In the 80th minute, one of C.A. Sportivo Sabalero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Sportivo Sabalero. A collision led to C.A. Sportivo Sabalero getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Victor Orlondo hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Dionisio Bembe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Abella was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 91st minute, Dionisio Bembe made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Abella. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Aureliano Abella was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Nicasio Iraunkor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicasio Iraunkor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 100th minute, Nicasio Iraunkor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poro-Amigos F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
