Nunez Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jaime Hustaz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haumonia's protests and gave Jaime Hustaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Haumonia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jaime Hustaz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C.A.Almafuerte's Damian Ruszczyk got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nunez Cidro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Alfonso in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Haumonia's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Borbély came free, but Nunez Cidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Ruperto Leobardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haumonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Almafuerte the free kick. In the 41st minute, Ruperto Leobardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoltán Borbély sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Cidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Borbély, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Leobardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Manuelo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Leobardo got free with Erasmo Manuelo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustin Mosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, C.A.Almafuerte failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
