Melchor Laurin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Paganzo Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Aimar to maneuver through the defense. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club River Plate's Alonzo Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Club River Plate from getting a goal against them. If Iosif Musceleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club River Plate's goalkeeper Alonzo Eliazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, Paganzo Fc's Iosif Musceleanu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Eliazar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Iosif Musceleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Eliazar having to interfere. In the 74th minute Atilano Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Silas Shaver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alonzo Eliazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eugen Brezeanu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Celestino Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Melchor Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Eugen Brezeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Club River Plate's Bruno Reno tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paganzo Fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
