The supporters of Talleres booed when Palmira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Onbera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Bihar went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Baumer in the 11th minute of play forced Palmira AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Raitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Onbera came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmira AFC's Aaron Basualdo. But to his dismay, Aaron Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jeremias Bihar didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 20th minute. Palmira AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 24thth minute of the game Silvano Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmira AFC's Eduardo Raitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aaron Basualdo didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 26th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Aaron Basualdo ran dejectedly back to his position. Aquilino Onbera made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Aaron Basualdo sent off a good shot on target. If Arnoldo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Jeremias Bihar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmira AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. After 34 minutes, Silvano Baumer made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palmira AFC's Eduardo Raitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Aaron Basualdo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquilino Onbera, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Celipe got free with Aquilino Onbera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Arnoldo Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Abel Silbestre hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Arnoldo Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 65 minutes into the game, Jeremias Bihar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Aquilino Onbera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Celipe in the 70th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Aquilino Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talleres's Aquilino Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Celipe in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jeremias Bihar made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Onbera. Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Aquilino Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Celipe in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Bihar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Onbera was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Filomeno Venceslao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Onbera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Filomeno Venceslao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmira AFC the free kick. After 89 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Venceslao. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Aaron Basualdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Onbera came out of the goal and Aaron Basualdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Celipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filomeno Venceslao came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Venceslao couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Palmira AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
