The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximo Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Boniel scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Beltran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, LosRanaPola's Luis Escobar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fábián Petruzzi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Marco Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LosRanaPola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Boniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gunners F.C's Justino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Boniel in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, The Gunners F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Niguel came free, but Justino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, LosRanaPola's Marco Boniel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Beltran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Marco Boniel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Gunners F.C's Justino Beltran. Justino Beltran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in The Gunners F.C's zone, Sixto Raebert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Beltran came out of the goal and Sixto Raebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gunners F.C's Justino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Raebert in the 31st minute of play. Fulgencio Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Justino Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LosRanaPola. Justino Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Raebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Boniel in the 46th minute of play forced The Gunners F.C's goalkeeper Justino Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Marcelino Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Raebert got free with Justino Beltran in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Niguel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Beltran having to interfere. In the 71st minute Marcelino Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes The Gunners F.C got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Lucero. 75 minutes into the game, Freddy Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gunners F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LosRanaPola the free kick. In the 76th minute, Marco Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Marcelino Niguel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justino Beltran. Marcelino Niguel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 90 minutes, Albano Lixandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LosRanaPola and the The Gunners F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LosRanaPola getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Albano Lixandro hit a great ball. Justino Beltran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Boniel in the 94th minute. Freddy Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Vela having to interfere.
