An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Matei in the 3rd minute of play forced MALVINAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Candido Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Matei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Candido Espiridion made a huge save. 10 minutes into the game, Freddy Caradaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Candido Espiridion. Freddy Caradaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Matei in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Espiridion saved MALVINAS F.C. from getting behind. The long shot by Ramon Martino in the 18th minute really tested Candido Espiridion's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th match minute, The Gunners F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábián Petruzzi to maneuver through the defense. The excitement rose when MALVINAS F.C.'s Alonzo Orti after 21 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for The Gunners F.C's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. In the 29th minute, Alfonso Indar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Beltran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, MALVINAS F.C.'s Candido Espiridion got control of the ball when Freddy Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Rogelio Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gunners F.C's Justino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Claris in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, one of The Gunners F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Gunners F.C. Justino Beltran had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alonzo Orti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Freddy Caradaro fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Gunners F.C's protests and gave Freddy Caradaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes The Gunners F.C got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Caradaro. Justino Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Claris in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Matei to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ivan Telo made a precise shot to the right of Justino Beltran. The Gunners F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Alonzo Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The Gunners F.C's Justino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Claris in the 63rd minute of play. Justino Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogelio Claris showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 64 minute of play. The Gunners F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Espiridion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Caradaro scored 3-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Espiridion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Rogelio Claris came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the MALVINAS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Claris couldn't finish the play. MALVINAS F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
