The Inter Miami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joachim Månsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Martxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Angel Gatev kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cresenciano Sobrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Celino in the 23rd minute of play. Teo Martxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Månsson in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute of the game Saul Tebaldo made a throw-in which Flavio Celino played forward. If Flavio Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Martxel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Månsson's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Angel Gatev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Martxel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 40th minute, Joachim Månsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Bidun came free, but Cresenciano Sobrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Serafin Fender hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

51 minutes into the match, Flavio Celino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cresenciano Sobrado, 3-1. Tifondeboyaca F.C's attentive Honorio Ekaitz managed to snatch the ball when Arnulfo Bordat made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Aureliano Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cresenciano Sobrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Månsson took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Martxel. Teo Martxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ruben Svensson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Teo Martxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. 72 minutes into the match, Natalio Lapurdi notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Tifondeboyaca F.C's Teo Martxel. Teo Martxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Svensson struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Teo Martxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. Inter Miami's Joachim Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82ndth minute of the game Joachim Månsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tifondeboyaca F.C's Teo Martxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
