The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Mino got free with Anier Beltza in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Amancio Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Igor Montel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Tiniebra. Legionarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Montel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Aminga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Frances came free, but Anier Beltza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
