Edgard Maria scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecilio Colas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elpidio Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Niguel having to interfere. Elpidio Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pablo Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

52 minutes into the game, Daniel Baudelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. lAnguila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vizcarra the free kick. Elpidio Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Aurken in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to lAnguila getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Vizcarra's Epifanio Abascal was substituted for Elpidio Pietro. The supporters of Vizcarra booed when lAnguila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Colas having to interfere.
