A sloppy throw-in by Gustavo Ilazki in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sans Frontieres's Bernardino Quintin. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jeremias Cortez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cresenciano Sobrado to make any attempt to save it. Nistor Baștină hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Miguel Claus scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cresenciano Sobrado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Gustavo Ilazki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sans Frontieres's Bernardino Quintin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jorge Gaztea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cresenciano Sobrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Claus in the 32nd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Miguel Claus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sans Frontieres and the Inter Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sans Frontieres's Miguel Claus got a free kick in the 36th minute. Anibal Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Månsson in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Sans Frontieres's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Månsson came free, but Anibal Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Jorge Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sans Frontieres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Gaztea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joachim Månsson made the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Joachim Månsson in the 61stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anibal Bela had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Sans Frontieres's Miguel Claus in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter Miami's goalie prevented a goal. If Miguel Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute Miguel Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresenciano Sobrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Claus in the 77th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Cresenciano Sobrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sans Frontieres getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nistor Baștină hit a great ball. Sans Frontieres's Bernardino Quintin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustavo Ilazki in the 82 minute of the game. Bernardino Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miguel Claus came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sans Frontieres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Claus couldn't finish the play. Cresenciano Sobrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sans Frontieres's Anibal Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Månsson in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Miguel Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sans Frontieres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Jeremias Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cresenciano Sobrado. Inter Miami's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sans Frontieres fully deserved thier win.
