After 47 minutes, Joachim Månsson made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. lAnguila's Pablo Niguel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Asur got free with Cresenciano Sobrado in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rdth minute of the game Joachim Månsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lAnguila's Pablo Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ruben Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Edgard Maria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 85th minute, Joachim Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Niguel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The supporters of lAnguila booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Pastor Astigar from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Cresenciano Sobrado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 98th minute, Gabriel Asur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cresenciano Sobrado was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. There was no doubt that Inter Miami were the better team. Inter Miami's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
