In the 3rd minute, Justino Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Vettel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Vettel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Abelardo Cilio made a huge save. When LIONS's Aaron Montrelle in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AmericanAirlines FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, AmericanAirlines FC's Justino Fertus got a free kick in the 21st minute. LIONS's Aaron Montrelle was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sebastian Vettel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cilio having to interfere. AmericanAirlines FC's Abelardo Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Montrelle in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of LIONS booed when AmericanAirlines FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Cilio made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aaron Montrelle sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 37 minutes, Sebastian Vettel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Vettel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Abelardo Cilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of LIONS booed when AmericanAirlines FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Cilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Montrelle went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Aaron Montrelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Cilio. AmericanAirlines FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Montrelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. LIONS's Aaron Montrelle got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, AmericanAirlines FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Montrelle came free, but Abelardo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Fertus hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Aaron Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Marz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Olivar's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 79th match minute, AmericanAirlines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Joey to maneuver through the defense. LIONS's Basilio Haimar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AmericanAirlines FC. 82 minutes into the match, Gogo Blai notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of LIONS's Fabian Marz. Fabian Marz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Sebastian Vettel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Pastor Olivar sped through LIONS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Marz. When the referee ended the match the LIONS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
