Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Tavio kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, Fredriksson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Guillen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fredriksson's Lisandro Cordearo got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Arsenio Lope came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Deportivo Alavés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Lope couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Deportivo Alavés's Aureliano Kaxen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mauricio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Tavio in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Bizen during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Fredriksson got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Bizen. Mauricio Faro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Benicio Bizen sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's goalkeeper Mauricio Faro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Bizen. Roque Tavio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Lisandro Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Alejandro Bizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benicio Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mauricio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Lope's late challenge caught a Fredriksson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Lope helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Alavés fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Fredriksson's Hugo Guillen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mauricio Faro.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Gutierrez made a kick off. Fredriksson's Benicio Bizen got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Benicio Bizen off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fredriksson's Benicio Bizen got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mauricio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Tavio in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Nicolas Fresco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Alavés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Mauricio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Tavio in the 70th minute of the match. Clodoveo Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Roque Tavio made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Faro. Deportivo Alavés's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Checa during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rosendo Raymon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Fresco went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Mauricio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Tavio in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Roque Tavio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Faro. Deportivo Alavés's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Tavio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Alejandro Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Tavio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If David Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mauricio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
