Braulio Gregory helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hudson City booed when LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Aaron Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, one of LIONS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LIONS. Fabian Marz had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Emanuel Koldobika's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Hudson City's Emanuel Koldobika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Marz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hudson City's Teofilo Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Montrelle in the 52nd minute of play. Fabian Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Rumaldo in the 57th minute of the match. Aaron Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Banegas having to interfere. LIONS's attentive Hans-Martin Sandstad managed to snatch the ball when Oscar Confesor made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Godfredo Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Teofilo Banegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Montrelle went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, LIONS's Juan Palben got a free kick in the 69th minute. Domingo Rumaldo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Hudson City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute Domingo Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudson City's goalkeeper Teofilo Banegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Hudson City's Emanuel Koldobika slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Marz. That made the score 3-2 after 85 minutes of play. In the 94th minute, Hudson City's Emanuel Koldobika ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabian Marz. Fabian Marz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
