Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elpidio Gutierrez made the kick off which started today's match. Eriberto Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Deportivo Alavés's Mauricio Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Koldobika in the 8th minute of play. Domingo Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mauricio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hudson City booed when Deportivo Alavés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Deportivo Alavés got a freekick which was hit by Raul Maju. Aureliano Kaxen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Koldobika kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauricio Faro. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Mauricio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Rumaldo in the 30th minute of the match. Oscar Confesor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jimeno Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Emanuel Koldobika in the 41st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mauricio Faro kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Emanuel Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jimeno Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Emanuel Koldobika made the kick off in the second half. Justo Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Alavés's goalie and right to Domingo Rumaldo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Alavés's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Domingo Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mauricio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Lope hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Alavés's goalkeeper Mauricio Faro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimeno Leizarraga struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mauricio Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hudson City. 67 minutes into the game, Aureliano Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Alavés's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hudson City the free kick. A collision led to Deportivo Alavés getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aureliano Kaxen hit a great ball. Justo Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hudson City getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Enrique Orlo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Koldobika in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Faro saved Deportivo Alavés from getting behind. It was a well-played corner which Jimeno Leizarraga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Teofilo Banegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Faro having to interfere. Jimeno Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Confesor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mauricio Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hudson City. If Emanuel Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Banegas was a little too slow when Raul Maju got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-1. Hudson City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
