But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Taccone couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Filiberto Ostadar sped through Duendes Verdes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Gelmiro. If Anastasio Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Ostadar in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Duendes Verdes's Rigoberto Gelmiro got control of the ball when Filiberto Ostadar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Rigoberto Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Silbestre. RAFAELA FUTBOL CLUB played a much better game than Duendes Verdes and deserved their victory. The Duendes Verdes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
