But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Otoniel couldn't finish the play. With 9 minutes on the clock, Virgilio Mirande commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Gilberto Tino, was totally fooled by EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's Severiano Maura, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ezequiel Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Ezequiel Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Vachon in the 38th minute of play forced EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's goalkeeper Marco Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leopoldo Kepa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's protests and gave Leopoldo Kepa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's Leopoldo Kepa got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gerardo Euloxu made the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Tino didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's Reynaldo Truylos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Candido Perrando might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Perrando ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's zone, Candido Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Rito came out of the goal and Candido Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rito having to interfere. The supporters of India Fútbol Club booed when EL COMANDANTE SIUUU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Euloxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's Gerardo Euloxu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Truylos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, India Fútbol Club's Candido Perrando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 89 minutes into the match, India Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Euloxu came free, but Gilberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Reynaldo Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL COMANDANTE SIUUU's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Truylos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in India Fútbol Club's zone, Gerardo Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Tino came out of the goal and Gerardo Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. India Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
