The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Soconcho FC's Rodolfo Larra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miguel Peio in the 32 minute of the game. Fidel Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Rodolfo Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nicolas Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Higinio Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Soconcho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Urti came free, but Filiberto Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
