Gaston Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Rucachoroi AFC defense, Ernesto Guillelme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Markel. The Rucachoroi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Markel should have stopped the shot. Norberto Bemabe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmiro Quin came out and tried to block the shot, but Norberto Bemabe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 45th minute. After the first half Picantovich Green Rangers were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Guillelme was the one to do the kick off. Delmiro Quin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Urti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, Paulino Lico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Picantovich Green Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rucachoroi AFC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Ernesto Guillelme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Picantovich Green Rangers's Nicolas Markel threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Guillelme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute Roman Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Txordon during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Rucachoroi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Txordon. The audience held their breath when Paulino Lico in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Nicolas Markel's left hand side.
