Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 85) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silverio Lalla kicked off to start the match. Aan Tarigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Cosme Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aan Tarigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Romo's late challenge caught a Instituto A.C.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Romo helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Carreras got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Romo. Aan Tarigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Dalmu in the 9th minute of the match. Ambrosio Dalmu's late challenge caught a Carreras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Dalmu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Instituto A.C.C getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ambrosio Dalmu hit a great ball. Ambrosio Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ramon Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Dalmu in the 15th minute of play forced Carreras's goalkeeper Aan Tarigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Carreras's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Gergori came free, but Aan Tarigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aan Tarigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Silverio Lalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Sustrai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Instituto A.C.C's goalkeeper Ramon Sustrai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Odon. Ambrosio Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Instituto A.C.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Ambrosio Odon scored to the left of an out of position Ramon Sustrai, making the score, 2-0. Ramon Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Lalla in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Carreras's Ambrosio Odon got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Carreras's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Dalmu came free, but Aan Tarigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aan Tarigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Instituto A.C.C's Nicasio Cresencio got a free kick in the 48th minute. Ramon Sustrai was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fermin Quiroga. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Dalmu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Lalla in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Sustrai saved Instituto A.C.C from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Dalmu got free with Aan Tarigan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aan Tarigan having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Carreras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Romo to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Nicasio Cresencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Dalmu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aan Tarigan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bengt Vallmark took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramon Sustrai. Instituto A.C.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Silverio Lalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Carreras booed when Instituto A.C.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Fermin Quiroga in the 89th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ramon Sustrai's left hand side. Fermin Quiroga's late challenge caught a Instituto A.C.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Quiroga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Fermin Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Herminio Argina in the 92nd minute really tested Aan Tarigan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ambrosio Odon struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ramon Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carreras. After a rather tough play, Carreras's Bengt Vallmark got a free kick in the 96th minute. Instituto A.C.C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Carreras had won, even though Instituto A.C.C had held more of the ball.
